When I decided that I wanted to add senior photography to my repertoire, I recruited my gorgeous sister (in-law) as my very first senior model. I mean, when you have genes this amazing in your family…you have to capitalize on them right? Ha. This was a fun test shoot that allowed me to gather some images for my senior magazine and marketing.
I can’t believe that this girl is entering her Senior year of high school! She is obviously beautiful outwardly, but it is her inner beauty that makes me so incredibly proud of her. Not only is she incredibly smart, but she is kind and generous and good.
I have always loved the juxtaposition of her appearances with her interests- this girl can do some mean tricks on a dirt bike and has been known to get her four wheeler stuck in the mud. She is an adventurer. She gets it honest. And while sometimes her adventurous spirit makes me a little nervous, it is also one of the greatest things I admire about her. She doesn’t just go with the typical flow, she creates her own current.
I know that this part of her character will carry her far in life. I have no doubt that she will accomplish amazing things. I pray that she will continue to push her limits and seek greatness because the world will be a better place because of the things she is capable of contributing to it.
Pete- I get all misty-eyed thinking about all that this year means…you are on the brink of so much fun and excitement in your life. I hope that you take your time and enjoy every minute of this last year- that you relish this time with your friends AND your family. 😉 I still see so much of that curious, curly-haired little girl left in you. I pray she stays within your forever- that you never compromise that for anyone else, that you continue to seek (safe) adventures, and that you never forget how much you are loved. Thank you so much for helping me with this little project. Now we need to start planning your REAL senior session! xo
